What a great idea..thanks for that. I am a teacher/therapist and would like to do some online chakra healing classes...how do you think I could go about that....? I have course content
Thanks for your answer!
If you have the course work or lessons ready, you are halfway there!
The next thing you should focus on is your class or course description.
This will help us prepare email promotion for your class, that can also be downloaded and printed up as a flyer.
We will promote your class, but you can too! Both on-line and by mail.
This promotion should let the student know exactly what they hope to accomplish and gain from the knowledge that you offer.
I like to offer my students a certain amount of technical support during the time frame of the class. In my case by daily email, but this would strictly be up to you.
You will need to organize the work to be covered by the student, into individual lessons.
Much as if you were going to physically present each lesson once or twice a week in a classroom.
If you want or need to make a visual presentation you can send us a a video clip, or you can just download and email us your videos. Written lesson material can be prepared in Microsoft office,
and forwarded as email attachments, PowerPoint works too. You need to decide how many lessons are in your course, and suggest a time frame for the class to be completed. . You have the option can to give tests or quizzes, for feedback and motivation. These you will have to grade and return to the students. Teaching can be quite a creative process, even teaching on-line. Hopefully this answers a few a your questions. Just call me if you would like to chat!
