Wow -- what a tragic scenario

Idea: a group of people "strike" outside the attorney's office
with signs that say "this attorney helps rip off homes..." or to that effect

have someone video tape it, this demonstration

call the better business bureau about this attorney and real estate scammer

call the newspapers and tv stations in san diego about this attorney
send them the video
get the public limelight on this
or get a news station to come out and interview betty

this is all brainstorming
