Letter from the Editor
February 2008

Greetings one & y'all,

The New Year has dawned and is settling into its stride. Many new beginnings are underway, many long dreampt of projects are unfurling, many of us are sloughing off the years long winter slumber we have been wrapped up in.

Some of these buddings are slow moving in their need for growth and synchronizity.

One such project is our very own Kokopelli Project. Read the articles regarding predatory lenders and how they have slowed & threatened Kokopelli's progress and existence. Please take a moment to make a small donation if possible. Kokopelli can not survive on positive thoughts at this crucial time.

Spring's warmth and healing energy are just around the corner. All those dreams and concepts sprouted during this beneficial New Year period are set to bloom gloriously in the new light of Spring. I have been fortunate to be part of many new projects & their growth - friendships, workshops. activities - all of which have been healing to many members of the North County Community as well as my family and me. I encourage you to peruse the class listings and partake in as many as you can.

The class listings we offer are beginning to grow as well as many of our friends embark on new paths and are opening up to share their lessons with the Community. I want to remind everyone again that you can list your class/workshop/seminar/event for FREE. Take advantage of this opportunity to reach our readership. Very soon you will see a few more classes from yours truly as I prepare to take some new steps in my teaching.

Our magazine is also growing and welcomes a new tech wiz to our ranks who will be helping us provide our readers with a more polished and reader interactive format in this transitory time between Winter & Spring.

It is the time of year to pull dead weeds, rake up the soil, add amendments and gather the seeds of what you want to grow in the garden of your soul. I believe you can find all the tools, strategies, supplies & support necessary to ensure a healthy, colourful, bountiful personal garden of Love & Joy in 2008.

Happy Gardening!
